Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend

*This is a Work Experience (work-based learning) position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined.

Will be first to answer route incoming calls on the 1st ring when at all possible.

· Will handle customers in a professional manner, use proper phone etiquette, and be courteous and helpful to everyone whether on the phone on in person.

· Will transfer and route calls and messages to staff and management, as instructed.

· Will assist students/customers with basic information such as course costs, start dates, assessment test registration and pricing. (Over the phone and in person)

· Will direct students/customers who have detailed questions, complaints, need to make payment, etc., to the appropriate staff member. (Over the phone and in person)

· Will accept student applications when program Coordinators are unavailable and make every effort to ensure that applications are complete and then turn in application to Student Services for processing.

· Will assist, if authorized, in taking assessment and or tuition payments when program coordinators are not available, or as instructed or approved by management personnel.

· Will check-in assessment participants, check profiles for completion and enter data for assessments, etc., prior to the scheduled test date.

· Will assist with orientations, contests, job fairs as needed.

· Will contact supervisor with questions and concerns about job responsibilities.

· Will perform other duties as requested or assigned by management.

· Will be trained to enter student data, take tuition payments, scan documents and assist Student Services when assigned by management personnel.
